MEMPHIS, Tenn.— May 1, 2026— The City of Memphis government offices will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026, in observance of Memorial Day. There will be no trash collection for residents serviced by the City of Memphis Solid Waste Management on that day.
Residents with Monday and Tuesday collection should place their carts out on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. Residents with Wednesday through Friday collection should place their carts out on their regular scheduled day.
Residents serviced by Team Waste will experience a one-day service delay due to the holiday. Monday collections will occur on Tuesday, Tuesday on Wednesday, Wednesday on Thursday, Thursday on Friday, and Friday on Saturday. Please note that excess trash and yard waste services will be limited during the holiday week.
