MEMPHIS, Tenn. May 27, 2025 —
Beginning on Monday, June 2, 2025, at approximately 6:00 a.m., South Second Street, between Union Avenue and Monroe Avenue, will be completely closed to through traffic to set up a crane for the replacement of water source chillers on the rooftop of the Holiday Inn, located at 160 Union Avenue. This closure will be in effect until approximately 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2025.
Motorists who normally use South Second Street are advised to use an alternate route during the duration of the closure.
The signed detour route will make use of Monroe Avenue, South Front Street, and Union Avenue.
