MEMPHIS, Tenn., August 12, 2025 – Beginning at 6:00 A.M. on Monday, August 18, Union Avenue between Wagner Place and Front Street will be closed to through traffic to allow for crane operations supporting the ongoing construction of the Brooks Museum. The closure is expected to remain in effect until approximately 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 19.
What to Expect:
- Through traffic will not be permitted on Union Avenue between Wagner Place and Front Street.
- A signed detour will guide drivers via Riverside Drive, Court Avenue, Front Street, and Beale Street.
- Local traffic will retain access up to the closure zone.
- Property access will be maintained for residents and businesses within the affected area.
