MEMPHIS, Tenn., Sept. 22, 2025 — In honor of the new Sister City relationship between Italy’s Porretta Terme, Bologna and Memphis, Shelby County, MALCO Theatres, Inc. will present the award-winning Italian film, Mio Fratello Rincorre I Dinosauri. The screening is part of the one-year-old Film Exchange between the different cities.

Free popcorn & soda come with free admission to see this heart-warming, enchanting story with a serious theme, most suitable for adults and teenagers. It tells the story of learning to accept people -including family members – who differ from us. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent.

Additionally, two short, locally shot films by Memphis Shelby County filmmakers will precede the feature. Noah Glenn’s “The Devil Will Run” and Caleb Suggs’ music video “Love Shake” both screened at The Porretta Film Festival last year. The Memphis filmmakers will be present to introduce their films. Porretta Film Festival Director Luca Elmi will introduce the feature.
