MEMPHIS, Tenn.— Feb. 11, 2026—City of Memphis government offices will be closed on Monday, February 16, 2026, in observance of President’s Day. There will be no trash collection service on Monday for residents serviced by the City of Memphis Solid Waste Management.
Revised Collection Schedule:
- Monday & Tuesday customers: Place carts out on Tuesday, February 17 for collection.
- Wednesday – Friday customers: Place carts out on your regularly scheduled collection day.
- City crews will work overtime to restore collection service by close of business on Friday.
Residents serviced by Team Waste will receive normal collection service during the week of February 16. Please place carts at the curb on your regular collection day.
Note: Excess trash and yard waste services will be limited during the holiday week.
