MEMPHIS, Tenn., Oct 2, 2025 – Morgan Steel, in partnership with the Greater Memphis Chamber, is proud to announce its participation in National Manufacturing Day with a special celebration highlighting the vital role manufacturing plays in the local economy and inspiring the next generation of skilled workers.
The event will take place on Friday, October 3, at Morgan Steel’s headquarters, featuring facility tours, hands-on demonstrations, apprenticeship program information, and networking opportunities with industry professionals. Local schools, community leaders, and business partners will be in attendance.
“Manufacturing is the backbone of our community, and National Manufacturing Day gives us a chance to open our doors and show what modern manufacturing looks like,” said Jonathan Keith, CEO of Morgan Steel. “We’re especially excited to share our new welding apprenticeship program, which combines classroom instruction with on-the-job training to build a strong pipeline of talent.”

National Manufacturing Day, organized by The Manufacturing Institute, is celebrated annually on the first Friday in October to promote careers in manufacturing and connect employers with future workforce talent.
