MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Fire Department is proud to announce its continued support of Autism Awareness Month through a department-wide initiative aimed at raising awareness and providing meaningful support to individuals and families impacted by autism—including members of our own fire family and the community we serve.
Through the efforts of department members, the Memphis Fire Department raised a total of $16,047.50 in support of autism awareness. Proceeds from this initiative will benefit the Autism Centers of Tennessee, helping to further their mission of providing resources, services, and support to those in need.
A check presentation will be held on April 30th at the Autism Centers of Tennessee, located at 6655 Quince Rd., Memphis, TN 38119 at 10:00am, to formally recognize this contribution and the ongoing partnership between the department and the organization.
Media representatives are invited to attend. There will be an opportunity for interviews and questions following the presentation.
The Memphis Fire Department remains committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen the community and promote awareness, understanding, and compassion.
