Martha McAnespie

Martha  MacAnespie, a distinguished centenarian, has lived a remarkable life defined by unwavering faith, personal strength, and a deep love for her community. She has been a pillar of strength and grace to her extended family, including her beloved nieces and nephews.
 
A lifelong resident of Memphis, Martha is known for her vibrant personality and active lifestyle. Her many hobbies have included reading, playing bridge, and gathering regularly with friends for lunch. A devoted sports enthusiast, she has long supported the University of Notre Dame and the University of Memphis, and takes great pride in cheering on her great-grandchildren’s teams at Auburn, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Missouri.
 
Martha’s faith has always been the foundation of her life. A devout Catholic and longtime parishioner of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, she has been deeply engaged in parish life and charitable efforts throughout the decades. In recognition of her dedication and spiritual leadership, Martha was honored with induction into the Memphis Catholic Hall of Fame in 2024.
