Traffic Alert: SARP10 Team will be installing new sewer pipe: Madison Ave and Manassas St

 

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – August 26, 2025 –  The City of Memphis Sewer Assessment and Rehabilitation Program (SARP10) Team will be installing traffic control on Madison Ave and Manassas St to allow installation of new sewer pipe. Traffic control devices will be in place on Madison Avenue and Manassas Street beginning Wednesday, August 26, 2025, and are expected to remain until October 26, 2025.

 
What is SARP10?
 
SARP10 – or Sewer Assessment and Rehabilitation Program – is a program that will bring improvements to the sewer system in the City of Memphis over the next 10 years. The SARP10 team will implement the program through a series of condition assessment and construction rehabilitation projects over the life of the program. The goal of the program is to reduce the number of sanitary sewer overflows.
