Cities United is coming to MEMPHIS: 13th Annual Convening

Cities United continues to invest in young people and safer futures through its national Leading the Way Tour, bringing strategic support, capacity‑building, and direct financial investments to cities committed to reducing violence and expanding opportunity. Over the past year, Cities United has invested more than $1 million in local partners across the country, strengthening community‑based organizations, youth leadership pipelines, and citywide safety ecosystems.

Now, Cities United is bringing its momentum to Memphis. This October, the organization will host its 13th Annual Convening in the Bluff City, gathering mayors, community leaders, young people, and national partners to share solutions, elevate innovation, and accelerate the work of building safe, healthy, and hopeful communities for Black boys and young men. Memphis will serve as the national stage for this year’s convening, highlighting the city’s commitment to collaboration, community‑driven safety strategies, and long‑term investment in youth and neighborhood well‑being.
