MEMPHIS, Tenn. June 23, 2025.
The City of Memphis government offices will be closed on July 4, 2025, in observance of Independence Day. There will be NO solid waste collection service for residents serviced by the City of Memphis Solid Waste Management on this day. Friday customers are asked to present their carts on Thursday, July 3rd, for collection. Monday through Thursday, customers are asked to present their carts for service on their regular collection day.
The contracted area serviced by Team Waste will experience a one-day delay on Friday and will be serviced on Saturday.
Remember to have carts at the curbside by 7:00 AM on collection day. Excess trash and yard waste services will be limited for customers the week of the holiday.
