Community Benefits Grant (For 38109 Projects only)
This grant supports the delivery of high‑impact public safety, stabilization, and essential‑resource initiatives for residents of the Priority Investment Zone (ZIP 38109). This grant pool serves as a location‑specific expansion of the Safer Communities Grant program, designed to strengthen neighborhoods directly located within a close proximity to xAi Colossus I. Funding is available to eligible community‑based organizations and small businesses that operate within a five‑mile radius of Colossus I and demonstrate active programming aligned with community safety and well‑being. Grant awards between $10,000 and $50,000 are available for general programming, with a separate tier of $5,000 to $15,000 for healthcare‑related services. An administrative cost cap of 25% applies. Funding may support program operations as well as facility capital repairs that are demonstrably necessary for service delivery. This program is not intended to serve as the sole source of funding for an applicant’s activities.
Priority consideration will be given to initiatives focused on violence prevention, intervention and conflict resolution, youth mentoring and after‑school activities, workforce development and job readiness, mental health services, post‑incarceration reentry support, community stabilization efforts, neighborhood watch programs, food access, and environmental safety measures. These programs will assist the City in supporting safer, healthier, and more resilient neighborhoods within Priority Investment Zone 1.

Safer Communities Grant
This Grant supports the delivery of comprehensive safety initiatives for individuals and neighborhoods at varying risk levels of involvement in community violence. Funding is available under two distinct tiers, Prevention and Intervention, to ensure targeted, high-impact programming. Organizations may only apply under one category and are not eligible to receive funding for both. Applicants are strongly encouraged to review category definitions in the proposal request carefully before submitting. These programs will assist the city in creating safer communities that benefit its citizenry. This program is not meant to be the sole source for funding of an applicant’s programs, projects or services. Grants between $10,000.00 and $50,000.00 will be available.
The deadline for all applications is Friday, October 2nd, 2026 at 11:59 PM CST. There will be a virtual pre‑proposal workshop on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 2:00 PM CST. Participation is not mandatory but is strongly encouraged.
