The City of Memphis’ Emergency Cooling Center will be open from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17, for people experiencing homelessness during extreme heat.
The Hospitality Hub operates the city’s Emergency Cooling Center at 590 Washington Ave.
Free transportation to the center will begin at 4 p.m. Monday. To request transportation, call the Hospitality Hub’s dedicated line at 901-486-0939.
