The City of Memphis’ Emergency Cooling Center will be open today, Saturday, August 15th, from noon to 8 p.m. at the Hospitality Hub, 590 Washington Ave. The center provides a safe place for the unhoused population during periods of extreme heat. Free transportation to the Hospitality Hub begins at noon. To request a ride, call 901-486-0939.
