Memphis City Councilwoman Rhonda Logan, Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), Memphis Light Gas & Water (MLGW), Nation Enrichment Project and Amplify Cell Technologies to host District 1 Emergency Preparedness & Energy Efficiency Community Fair
Join Memphis City Councilwoman Rhonda Logan (District 1), Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), Memphis, Light, Gas, and Water (MLGW), Nation Enrichment Project, and Amplify Cell Technologies on Saturday, February 22, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Holy Nation Church, 3333 Brownsville Rd., Memphis TN 38128 for an Emergency Preparedness & Energy Efficiency Community Fair.
This free, family-friendly event will equip residents with essential knowledge and resources to enhance emergency preparedness and energy efficiency at home and as a community. The fair will also feature a Byhalia-based company new to the Mid-South, Amplify Cell Technologies, a battery-cell manufacturing company seeking to hire 2000 employees by 2027.
The Community Fair will provide residents with critical information and resources such as:
– Tools and information from local, home and community emergency planning experts to prepare for emergency events.
– Practical steps to reduce your home energy costs, presented by a TVA energy efficiency specialist.
– Live Demonstrations on life-saving emergency planning and response strategies.
– Opportunities to engage with on-site emergency specialists to gain insight into protecting your home and loved ones.
– The fair will also feature a Byhalia-based company new to the Mid-South, Amplify Cell Technologies, a battery-cell manufacturing company seeking to hire 2000 employees by 2027.
– Free LED lightbulbs, free food, and give-a-ways from a host of vendors
