MEMPHIS, Tenn., August 16, 2026 — The City of Memphis’ Emergency Cooling Center will be open today, Sunday, August 16, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Hospitality Hub, 590 Washington Ave.
The Hospitality Hub operates the City of Memphis’ Emergency Cooling Center during extreme warm weather, providing a place of safety and kindness for the unhoused population to shelter from dangerous conditions.
Free transportation to the HUB will begin at 10 a.m. To request transportation, please call the Hospitality Hub’s dedicated line at 901-486-0939.
