MEMPHIS, Tenn. ( November 3, 2025) — City of Memphis government offices will be closed Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, in observance of Veterans Day.
There will be no solid waste collection service for residents serviced by the City of Memphis Solid Waste Management division on that day.
Residents with Tuesday collection are asked to place their carts at the curb for pickup on Wednesday, Nov. 12. Wednesday through Friday customers should place their carts out on their regular collection days for service.
Excess trash and yard waste collection will be limited during the week of the holiday.
Residents serviced by Team Waste will not experience any delays in collection during the holiday week.
For collection schedule updates, residents can download the Memphis Curbside Collection app, available for free on Apple and Google devices. The schedule provided applies only to residents serviced by the City of Memphis Solid Waste Management.
