MEMPHIS, Tenn.— March 16, 2026— City of Memphis government offices will be closed on Monday, April 6, 2026, in observance of the Martin Luther King Memorial Holiday. Residents served by the City of Memphis Solid Waste Management will not have trash collected on Monday. Collection for Monday customers will move to Tuesday; Tuesday to Wednesday; Wednesday to Thursday; and Thursday and Friday customers will be collected on Friday. Crews will work overtime to return to the normal schedule by Saturday.
Residents served by Team Waste will have normal collection during the week of April 6. Please place carts at the curb by 7:00 AM on your scheduled day.
