MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The City of Memphis invites residents and visitors to Liberty for All, a free, family-friendly Independence Day celebration, tonight, Thursday, July 2, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Liberty Park, 335 S. Hollywood St.
The event will feature live entertainment, food trucks, activities for all ages, and a fireworks spectacular to close out the celebration. Admission and parking are free, and lawn chairs are welcome.
Residents are also reminded that, in observance of the Independence Day holiday, all Thursday and Friday residential solid waste collections will be completed today, Thursday, July 2. There will be no residential trash collection on Friday, July 3.
The holiday collection schedule applies only to customers served by the City of Memphis Solid Waste Management Division.
