MEMPHIS, Tenn.— March 27, 2026This Saturday, more than 200 City of Memphis employees will lace up their bowling shoes and take to the lanes at Billy Hardwick’s All Star Lanes as part of Junior Achievement of Memphis and the Mid-South’s 40th Annual Spring Bowl-A-Thon.

 

“City of Memphis employees are proud to support Junior Achievement and the opportunities it creates for our young people,” said Memphis Mayor Paul Young. “This is the kind of work that opens doors for our students and helps move Memphis forward.”
 
City of Memphis teams are working to help Junior Achievement reach its $150,000 fundraising goal. Bowlers are  representing almost every City of Memphis Department or Division.

When civic leaders step up in support of initiatives like this, it energizes the entire community to rally behind our children we serve.”
 
The Bowl-A-Thon brings together local businesses, organizations, and community leaders for a day of friendly competition and philanthropy. Funds raised support Junior Achievement programs.
