MEMPHIS, Tenn., June 19, 2026 – City of Memphis government offices will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2026, in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.
As a result, there will be no residential trash collection service on Friday, July 3, for customers served by the City of Memphis Solid Waste Management Division. Residents whose regular collection day falls on Friday will receive service on Thursday, July 2.
Residents served by Team Waste will receive collection on their regularly scheduled service day.
Please note that excess trash and yard waste collection services will be limited during the holiday week.
