Anna Scheef Barker was a proud Navy wife for 21 years, supporting her family through a life of service and dedication. She is a devoted member of St. Paul’s Methodist Church and values faith and community. Anna enjoys spending her time coloring, reading, and knitting, hobbies that bring her peace and creativity. Her advice to others is simple and heartfelt: enjoy life. She attributes her long life to staying active and connected with friends and family, cherishing the relationships that matter most.

You are never alone-always have family and God with you
 
What’s your favorite memory from your childhood?
Grew up in Houston, Texas.  Swimming with family.
 
How has the world changed the most during your lifetime?
Electronics:  TV,  iPad, etc.
 
What advice would you give to someone just starting their life journey?
Love, work hard, trust GOD

What are you most grateful for?
Parental upbringing, personal family, and friends

What are some places in Memphis that no longer exist but were special to you?
Still exists, but unable to live there, my home.

Seafood restaurants

Being together
