What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned in life?
God has been good to me by giving me love from family and friends.

 

What’s your favorite memory from your childhood?
Playing in the yard on 25 West Frank Street where my family lived.

 

How has the world changed the most during your lifetime?
There is not enough love in the world today. My early years love was important.

 

What advice would you give to someone just starting their life journey?
To think positive. Do the best they can and always do good to others.

 

What are you most grateful for?

 I  am grateful for my house.
 
What are some places in Memphis that no longer exist but were special to you? 
 I loved downtown Memphis.  I used to ride the bus downtown to all the stores that are not around anymore.
 
What is/was your favorite Memphis restaurant? 
The Cupboard Restaurant.  I would see the same people so it was like family.
 
 How did your family celebrate holidays or special occasions in Memphis?  
Everybody came to momma’s house on Frank Street to celebrate holidays  and it was a joy to celebrate with my momma and siblings.
 
What is your favorite Memphis memory? 
I have enjoyed life.  God has been good to me.  I have precious memories of my family and my co workers at MLGW where I worked for many years.
 
What do you want people to know about you?  
I  want people to know I love them deeply and always live a positive life.  The joy of the Lord is my strength.
