MEMPHIS, Tenn. June 13, 2025. In observance of Juneteenth, City of Memphis government offices will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, 2025. As a result, there will be no trash collection for residents served by the City of Memphis Solid Waste Management on that day.
Collection Schedule Adjustments:
- Thursday customers should place their carts curbside on Friday, June 20, for pickup.
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday customers should follow their normal collection schedule.
Residents in contracted service areas managed by Team Waste will not be affected by the holiday and should expect regular service.
To ensure your trash is picked up, please have your carts at the curb by 7:00 AM on your collection day. Be aware that excess trash and yard waste pickup may be limited during the holiday week.
