Celebrate Memphis!

901 Day is a special time each year when our whole city comes together to celebrate what makes Memphis amazing—our people, our neighborhoods, our music, our food, and our creativity. It’s a day all about pride in the 901, and in 2026, we’re turning it into a full weekend of fun, art, music, and community. More than 300 Memphis artists and creators will be sharing their talents, and we can’t wait for you to experience it. 

There’s something for everyone—music lovers, artists, families, and anyone who wants to celebrate Memphis culture. 

Friday, August 28

Creative Mixer & Trolley Night Kickoff Concert

We start the weekend in the South Main District with the Creative Mixer at the Halloran Centre from 5–7pm, where artists, makers, and community members can meet up and get inspired. 

 

After that, the Trolley Night Kickoff Concert brings music and excitement to the National Civil Rights Museum from 7–10pm. You’ll see a full lineup of Memphis performers, including DJs, singers, and bands, plus fun activities like Shell on Wheels. It’s the perfect way to kick off the weekend and celebrate Memphis creativity.

On Sunday, Beale Street turns into a giant celebration with live performances, art activities, fashion shows, film features, and more. There are several stages and zones to explore, and each one has something different to offer.
