2026-2029 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Applications
The City of Memphis, Division of Engineering, is in the process of preparing project submissions for the 2026-2029 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The TIP is administered by the Memphis Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), and it allocates federal funding for transportation projects, over the planning period. An application summary report has been posted to the City of Memphis, Division of Engineering website at the link below.
Proposed projects include major road improvements, roadway resurfacing, bridge repairs, bike and pedestrian projects, safety projects, and traffic signal improvements. The City is seeking comments from the general public before making the final application submission to the MPO.
