Property Donations

Property owners can donate vacant properties to MMLA. By doing so, property owners can offload burdensome properties that pose harm and liabilities to the in the neighborhood. MMLBA’s ability to exercise this method of acquisition will be subject to available financial resources and operational capacity to support the acquisition of the property. Property transfers can only be completed after the application is approved, and the Sales Purchase Agreements have been signed. In the event that a property is donated to the Land Bank, MMLBA reserves the right to design, renovate, maintain, sell, or demolish the property.
