Play Your Park program begins
Posted on 06/10/2019
Play Your Park 2019 kicked off Monday, June 10. The program offers kids and teens in the community a chance to get outside and have fun during summer vacation at City of Memphis parks.

The program runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday until August 2. All participants need to do is show up at the park and sign in to take part. Each day there will be games and activities, such as dodgeball, arts & crafts, relay races, and giant board games. Play Your Park is free and lunch will be provided.

“Play Your Park is a great way to have a fun, safe, guided recreation in 20 of our parks," Nick Walker, Deputy Director of Parks and Neighborhoods said. "Having organized play provides wonderful outdoor activities for kids and it fosters a relationship with our neighborhood parks.
