COVID-19 Update from City of Memphis
COVID-19 Update from City of Memphis
Posted on 03/12/2020
At present, all City-run facilities and functions remain open and active based on advice from medical experts. With the evolving nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, the City may choose to cancel events or close facilities in the future. Our decision to do so will be based on evidence of community transmission of the virus.

In the meantime, and out of an abundance of caution, we are continuing to recommend citizens follow CDC guidelines; if you’re 60 or older and/or have underlying serious health conditions, we urge you to avoid large gatherings and stay home if you can.

In addition, anyone who needs to conduct business with the City (i.e. pay taxes, fines, etc.) please do so through the mail or one of our on-line portals rather than in person. The link to pay your taxes online is https://epayments.memphistn.gov/

For those individuals without access to a computer or a smart phone to pay your City of Memphis bills, we ask that you do not come to City Hall, but that you call (901) 522-1111 so that we can make the necessary arrangements to avoid late fees or fines.

This is a rapidly evolving situation and we are constantly monitoring. Look for more updates as we get additional information. If you have additional questions, please contact 311.
