Traffic Alert:  Walnut Grove Road at Farm Road

Construction will occur at Walnut Grove at Farm Rd affecting vehicle, bike, and pedestrian traffic. The construction is connected to pedestrian and bicyclist safety improvements. 

From Friday, June 14, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. until  Monday, June 17, 2024, the westbound outside lane on Walnut Grove Road and the northbound lane on Farm Road will be closed. The eastbound and westbound turn lanes will be restricted. This intersection’s pedestrian and bicycle crossing will be closed while the work is active.

Construction will resume on Friday, June 21, 2024, at about 6:30 p.m. and last until Monday, June 24, 2024, at approximately 5:00 a.m. The westbound inside lane and the eastbound outside lane on Walnut Grove Road will be closed. The pedestrian and bicycle crossing at this intersection will also be closed while the work is active.

 Pedestrians and bicyclists using the trail systems adjacent to Shelby Farms Park are encouraged to use an alternate route while construction is active.
