Beginning on Monday, August 7, 2023, at approximately 7:00 a.m. all eastbound lanes on South Parkway between Cummings St. and S. Bellevue Blvd. will be completely closed to through traffic to allow a contractor to complete full depth pavement repairs on this section of South Parkway. The closure of the eastbound lanes will last approximately two months.
Immediately following the completion of the work on the east eastbound lanes, all westbound lanes on South Parkway between Cummins St. and S. Bellevue Blvd. will be completely closed to through traffic to allow the contractor to continue full depth pavement repairs on this section of South Parkway. The closure of the westbound lanes will last approximately two months.
The total project duration will be approximately four months. Delays are to be expected.
Motorists who normally use South Parkway between Cummings St. and S. Bellevue Blvd. are advised to use an alternate route during the duration of the closure.
The signed detour route for eastbound S. Parkway will make use of Cummings St., E. Trigg Ave. and S. Bellevue Blvd.
The signed detour route for westbound S. Parkway will make use of S. Bellevue Blvd, Kerr Ave., Azalia St. and Cummings St.
