Vocations are callings from God. Commissioner Marsha Campbell has several vocations including being a daughter, wife, mother, student, civic leader, public servant and an ordained minister.
Commissioner Campbell is second oldest of eight children born to Herbert and Barbara Baptist. She has been married for more than16 years to her husband Maurice. They have four children, three girls, Mauricia, Martrice and Marshaye and a son Maurice.
After graduating from Oakhaven High School, Commissioner Campbell attended the University of Memphis and graduated cum laude with a bachelor?s degree in Business from Belhaven College. She and her family attend the Shiloh Baptist Church. Commissioner Campbell was ordained as a minister on September 25, 2005 at Old Time Holiness Ministries. Her future goal is to obtain a Master?s of Divinity within the next couple of years.
In addition to being a motivational speaker, Commissioner Campbell volunteers at Oakhaven Elementary, is a member of the Parent Teachers Association and the Oakhaven Community Watch Program.
Her professional career includes working with American First Mortgage as a mortgage specialist, Pepsi America as a lead payroll coordinator and the United Purchase Group and Professional Income Tax as a tax consultant.
Commissioner Campbell currently owns her own business, Camp 6 Tax Service. She believes that God placed her in this position of trust as a Charter Commissioner and she is looking forward to continued public service in the future.
